FIRST PROPERTY LIVE!
Hey everyone! Excited to share that my first listing went live on Tuesday/Wednesday (dk when Airbnb actually published it) and we’ve already secured 10 bookings! 🤯
I joined this course in January, and it’s been a wild ride. I wanted to share a bit of my story because if you are currently looking for your first property and questioning if it’s possible - it is!
I live in Canberra but decided to set up in Sydney. I don’t drive and don’t own a car. Every single time I had inspections, I’d wake up at 4:00 AM, catch the 5:00am bus, and travel 3.5 hours each way just to make a 9:00 AM inspection, and head straight back home the same day.
I spent a month away visiting family, and actually had to pull out of a signed lease one day before it started as the agent lied about the building manager being okay with STR.
After endless "nos," it finally happened. Two weeks ago, I went down to Sydney to start furnishing.
To anyone still searching for their first property:
Please let this be your sign to keep going. Even if you have to act a bit delusional to keep your spirits up, just do the daily inputs. The results will come in time.

Last Wednesday, my first property in the North Shore went live on Airbnb and within a few hours was booked for my first guest, who checked in 7 days later (Wednesday, yesterday).
Within first few days, was booked out for July and August with 3 reservations.. not bad considering offering discount for first 3 bookings but blocked out over July & August within days.
My apartment in the heart of Sydney CBD is currently privately tenanted, they’re moving out soon and looking forward to listing it also..

My first listing Sunset Riverscape went live this morning (Thursday) - by lunch time, I received a booking enquiry for 2 weeks next week.
By this afternoon, I got another enquiry and before I reached home, I received the booking confirmation, guests checking in next week.
I got this place a couple of months ago but they started renovations not long after I signed the lease, lobby areas, power & water interruptions, carpets renewed & new painting.. so it's been a long difficult journey 🫤 but I got the time to dress the apt the way I want.
I thank God it's now complete and here with my first booking on the first day live!! 🔥🙏🏼
